In the end, it was a $120 order at Carl's Jr. that put three thieves away.
Rocklin, California, police received a string of vehicle break-in reports last Saturday night. They were able to trace one of the stolen credit cards back to an order at a nearby Carl's Jr. fast food restaurant. Employees were suspicious of the large order and had written down the license plate number.
Later, police discovered an Instagram picture linking the suspects to the heaping burger order which sealed the deal.
